Performance and Uses
BJXG-5 is a PVC resin with a chemically micro-crosslinked structure. During vinyl chloride polymerization, a compound that can copolymerize with vinyl chloride and crosslink PVC molecular chains is introduced, resulting in partial crosslinking of the resin. In products processed from this partially crosslinked PVC resin, the presence of microgels creates differences in viscoelasticity between the gel and sol fractions, forming fine surface irregularities. When light reaches the surface, diffuse reflection occurs, producing a matte effect.
BJXG-5 matte PVC resin offers a soft gloss and fine surface texture, creating an elegant and comfortable appearance. It is widely used in applications requiring a matte finish, including wood coloring, paper varnishes, floor coatings, metal and plastic coatings, electrophoretic coatings, coil coatings, furniture, wallpaper, leather, and synthetic leather.
