Performance and Uses
A colorless, flammable liquid, insoluble in water and soluble in organic solvents. Under acid or alkali catalysis it polymerizes to silicone polymers and is a key raw material for silicone oils and rubbers.

Storage and Packaging
Supplied in 1,000 L IBCs (net 950 kg/IBC) or transported in a closed tank truck. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from heat and ignition sources; keep separate from oxidants, acids and alkalis. Recommended storage temperature: 20–40°C. If the temperature falls below 17°C, insulation and freeze-protection measures should be taken.
